Gio holds a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney, with a focus on neuro and cardiovascular pharmacology and a Master’s in Financial Services from the same institution. Gio also undertook PhD research at the University of Sydney, exploring stroke and preventative measures to protect the brain—work that deepened his understanding of health systems and medical innovation.

Prior to joining Foley, he spent a significant part of his career in the superannuation sector, working with one of the largest pension funds in the world. This experience gave him deep insight into institutional investment, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement at both domestic and global levels.

Laurie enjoys reading, running and yoga (usually in that order) and travelling and spending time with her family.  She is a dual national and holds citizenship of the UK and Australia.
